Things to think about before shopping for Hunter Douglas Blinds:

  • How much light is desired in the room where the blinds or window coverings will be installed?
  • What is the price-point?
    • Most products have three price levels and some have as many as eight levels. The pricing depends on the type of blind and fabric.

What should I bring to the in-store consultation?

  • Pictures of the room and windows that need to be covered
  • Room dimensions

    • Look at the space available for mounting the blinds or shades inside the window frame. Most products need ¾”- 1 ½” flat depth for mounting brackets. The other option is to mount the blinds or shades on the trim around the window opening.
